Volunteering for UWBHF

The United Women’s Ball Hockey Foundation is a non-profit run almost entirely on Volunteer support!  If you love ball hockey and want to support the growth of the women’s game, please consider donating time or resources to UWBHF.  Volunteers are the heart of our organization, making the Draft League, Clinics, and Tournaments possible for our women’s and youth ball hockey community.

Do you have a passion for being active?

Volunteering with UWBHF can also serve a fun way to fulfill your community service requirement while making a positive difference in your community.

How can you help as a volunteer?

As a volunteer there are many different roles that need to be filled. Everything from a support person to experienced coach or maybe specialty help around the rink with things like score keeping or registrations. Below you will find some specific volunteer roles.

During tournament weekends we need volunteers to be support staff on site! From directing traffic, to selling food and drinks, reffing games (*requires previous ref experience) and assisting athlete sign-in we can always use extra hands on deck!
If you have prior hockey coaching experience and want to get involved, we always appreciate volunteer coaches participating in our training Clinics
Are you an experienced ball hockey player and want to support the growth of the game? Join us at a Youth Clinic to share your love of the game with the next generation as we help them develop their skills and have fun while doing it!
We always need score keepers and time-keepers to work the clock and keep stats during tournaments and league games!
As an organization still in it’s infancy, join our ambassador team to help spread the word about who we are and our mission to grow the sport!
